La création du club

Le club est fondé en 1880 par Robert Baxter et l'aide de quelques amis et collègues de l'usine de "Royal Irish Distillery", après avoir crée l'année précédente une équipe de cricket. Le club change d'appelation en 1999 et ajoute le nom de sa ville à son patronyme.
